Muslimedianews, Surabaya ~ Nahdlatul Ulama (NU), the largest Muslim organization in Indonesia,
warned some 12 hardline organizations. General Chairman of NU, KH Said
Aqil Siraj (Kang Said) said these groups could spark new hardline
movements in Indonesia.
KH. Said said that those groups were not terrorist organizations but they embraced hardline approaches. Those organizations are located in Makassar (South Sulawesi), Lampung, Mataram (West Nusa Tenggara), Jakarta, Sukabumi and Cirebon (West Java), Surabaya, Bondowoso and Jember (East Java).
"I'm afraid they have potential to seed terrorism," KH Said said recently. He added that NU was ready to help government to cut terror network in Indonesia.
